At Princes Park - Turf Oval 1, our Essendon 2nd XI lost out to Carlton 2nd XI with lessons to take away.
First up, we made 10/134 from 41.1 overs. Jarrod Parsons's 34 off 65 balls was the highlight with the bat. Henry Edwards returned three for 31 for Carlton 2nd XI.
The hosts knocked off the runs, finishing on 3/137 in 34.2 overs. Credit to Nicholas Ross, who made a half-century (50) for our opponents. Arin Mishra led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 15.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
