Our Essendon 4th XI came unstuck as they were unable to get the better of Greenvale Kangaroos 4th XI on a tough day.

Over the course of the match we totalled 8/316, and Greenvale Kangaroos 4th XI 10/371. Hady Hegazy's 128 off 178 balls was a century to savour. For our opponents, Muhammad Taha Rabbani took three for 49 off twelve overs.

Aaron Cornish was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 82 off 25 overs. Krishna Chandak claimed three for 88 as well. Aryan Sharma made a polished 120 for the visitors, a century worth applauding.

We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.

It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. On to the next one.
